Proof of Life by Hailey Edwards is the fourth book in the urban fantasy series Potentate of Atlanta. Danger, growth and awkwardly inappropriate comments..lol
I am loving this series. Hadley is slowing come into her own and finding her happy. She and Midas her mate/fiancé are growing as a couple and I enjoyed their moments together.
Midas is working really hard to court Hadley, including a romantic date involving chocolate, unfortunately the coven is up to no good and blowing things up.
Visits from her family, a traitor in their ranks and pack problems keep Hadley on her toes. Edwards put Hadley through the ringer as people she knows are killed in these magical bombings. Can they stop them before it’s too late? A beef with another pack had me roaring with laughter. I really wish I could ee Midas and his mama’s face.
The developments with Ambrose is fantastic and I am curious to see what it means for Hadley.
While each of the books deals with a case, the overall series ARC and relationships have me recommending that you read this series in order. You can find it in Kindle Unlimited and on audio.

Oh man. Inappropriate comments by characters are one of my fave characterizations. See: Charley Davidson. Lol.

Fabulous review! I really enjoyed this one and feel this series keeps improving. I still don’t like Boaz.

Agreed.

Ah, so who would you think have a more rotten luck? Hadley or Harry Dresden?
Kimberly
Oh my… Harry.

7 beating hearts and still Harry has worse luck? I really should go back to reading him.
