Fair Market Value by Hailey Edwards is the first audiobook in her newest series, The Body Shop. Narrated by Candace Joice, I was immediately drawn to the body shop and necromancer, Mary Frances Talbot, aka Frankie. Dead vampires and an ex boyfriend turned police delivered an intense first listen.
Drow Nightfall by Martha Carr & Michael Anderle
Drow Nightfall by Martha Carr & Michael Anderle is the sixth book in the Chronicles of Shadow Bourne. Narrated by Stephanie Savannah, Charlie must unravel a murder mystery and Ellis finds herself in danger when she steals vital information from a government lab. Suspense, magic and romance await you in this engaging tale.
The Bloody Ruin Asylum & Taproom by Seana Kelly
In the seventh Sam Quinn urban fantasy audiobook, The Bloody Ruin Asylum and Taproom by Seana Kelly, we are off to Budapest where Clive will interview for a position in the Guild, a council of thirteen vampires who advise the world’s Masters. Things are right with the ghosts at the asylum and the local weres aren’t happy that Sam & Clive are there. Narrated by Samantha Desa, Kelly delivered a nail-biting tale with snark, and plenty of danger.
A Sure Thing, The Storm in Her Smile and The Stars That Sing by Chris Tullbane
The following are novelette stories from a post-break world. These shorts are all set in the same world as the Murder of Crows trilogy and each is narrated by Joseph Vernon. Tullbane gave us intriguing stories. Some featuring secondary characters we already know, and I devoured them all. If you haven’t listened to the Murder of Crows trilogy, I highly recommend it.
Red Right Hand by Chris Tullbane
After the events at the end of See These Bones, I dove into Red Right Hand by Chris Tullbane. It’s Damian’s second year at the academy, training to become a cape. No second book syndrome here as Tullbane delivered action, suspense, character growth and more. Unputdownable!
