Mistletoe on Main Street is the first novel in Olivia Miles new Briar Creek series. As a big fan of holiday romance and small-town settings selecting this title was a no brainer. Set in Briar Creek, Vermont this second chance romance was sweet and I look forward to visiting again.
Maybe This Christmas by Sarah Morgan
I have loved reading Sarah Morgan’s O’Neil Brothers series. I started the series last year with Sleigh Bells in the Snow during the Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-thon so it was only fitting that I ended it with Maybe This Christmas during this year’s read-a-thon. Some of my favorite romances are small-town, family oriented like Robyn Carr’s Virgin River series and Bella Andre’s Sullivans. Morgan offered up wonderful brothers, a ski resort in Snow Crystal, Vermont and just the right amount of heat for a chilly winter’s night.
Cowboys for Christmas by Liz Talley, Kim Law and, Terri Osburn
Cowboys for Christmas, Yea-Ha! I was looking for some Christmas themed novels and stumbled across this collection of stories by Liz Talley, Kim Law and Terri Osburn. They are all new to me authors, but I loved the small-town Texas setting and the fact that all three short stories were tied together. Moreover, there was a promise of Cowboys. Cowboys for Christmas, was a sweet, feel good tale. Filled with small-town charm, best friends and swoon-worthy cowboys it is the perfect holiday treat.
Intrusion by Charlotte Stein
Intrusion is the first in the series Under the Skin by Charlotte Stein. I began reading this knowing very little about this novella other than it was an erotic contemporary. Stein delivered an intriguing story with mystery, suspense, heat and two endearing and damaged souls.
When We Met by A.L. Jackson, Molly McAdams, Tiffany King, and Christina Lee
When We Met, features four romantic short stories involving different girls. They all live off campus together in their junior year of college in Michigan. This New Adult anthology features authors A.L. Jackson, Molly McAdams, Tiffany King and Christina Lee. Romances with all of the feels, I enjoyed meeting these girls, and trying a few new to me authors.
