The Importance of Being Alice by Katie MacAlister

The Importance of Being Alice is a cute, sometimes humorous romance and the first of the Ainslie Brothers series by Katie MacAlister. Of course, I was immediately drawn to this by the promise of brothers. You all know by now this is a weakness of mine. While not without issues, The Importance of Being Alice was a fluffy romance with a castle, and interesting secondary characters.

Mr. Miracle: A Christmas Novel by Debbie Macomber

I am not big on religious novels, but Debbie Macomber’s Angelic Intervention series are magical and I enjoy devouring them around the holidays. I have read them all and watched the movie versions on Hallmark Channel more times, than I can count. Mr. Miracle was a wonderful addition to the series and perfect for getting me in the holiday mood. At just under three-hundred pages, it is the perfect book to read by the fire this holiday season.

Holding Holly is a holiday romance novella, in the Love and Football series by Julie Brannagh and takes place in the town of Noel at the peak of the holiday season. Cute, clean and filled with good will towards men, this is a delightful way to spend an evening.
