A dual POV, diversity and miscommunication gave way to a timeless romance in Modern Love by Beau North. Narrated by Becci Martin, this short story quickly pulled me in with it’s complex characters and banter.

Hero Next Door tempted me with the single Military Dad trope. I am a sucker for a single daddy. This was my fist Lara Swann book. She provided a nice balance of adorableness, suspense and wicked heat. I chose to listen to new me to narrators, Veronica Worthington and John Lane.

The Rehearsal Dinner and The Reception are part of The Wedding From Hell trilogy by J.R. Ward. They are free digital stories and a prequel to Consumed the first full-length novel in J. R. Ward’s Firefighters, romantic suspense series available October 9th. I love that the author and Simon & Schuster gave us insight into these firefighters, the crew and town.
The Real Deal by Lauren Blakely
I can always count on Lauren Blakely for swoons, feels and laughter. The Real Deal narrated by Erin Mallon and Zackary Webber, this arrangement trope romance delivered all the elements I love in a feel good romance.
The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker
I’ve been a fan of Tucker since her ten tiny breaths series. I absolutely love the directions her writing has taken. The Simple Wild is a standalone adult contemporary with a cute, “enemies to lovers” romance. It also shares an emotional father-daughter story and its all delivered with a breathtaking view of Alaska. I laughed, swooned and cried as I fell for these characters and landscape.
