Coffee Pot Reviews: Romancing the Holiday by Jaci Burton, HelenKay Dimon, Christi Barth
Welcome to Coffee Pot Reviews! These are short and sweet reviews done in the length of time it takes my coffee pot to brew! Romancing the Holiday is a wonderful book that contains three delightful holiday stories about Love. While two of them are from series, let me assure you this did not affect my enjoyment. Below you will find my review of each of those tales.
Big Sky River by Linda Lael Miller
I am in love with the townsfolk of Parable Montana. Big Sky River is book three in Linda Lael Miller’s Swoon-Worthy Cowboy series and yea-ha it was good to return. Each can be read as a standalone, but if you are like me and want to know all of the side characters and their stories go for book one first. This book focuses on Sheriff Boone Taylor and his city-born neighbor Tara Kendall. Since the first novel Big Sky Country these two have butted heads and it was lovely reading their story. As always once I started reading, I could not put it down and consumed this in a few hours.
Trouble in Texas by Katie Lane
If you have been following my reviews you know how anal I am about reading books in order so when I downloaded and accepted an ARC of Trouble in Texas and discovered in was book four I was pretty darn nervous; in fact I kept shuffling it back in my reading pile..But holy hot cowboys am I glad the responsible side of me that keeps and honors commitments forced me to read it. Lane gave me a delightful tale that had me laughing, crying, giggling and sighing! This was a fast paced story, with wonderful characters that I connected too and had me buying the previous books in the series. Like a lot of the series I love each book can be read as a standalone and centers on a couple.
