Foreplay by Sophia Jordan was a wonderful surprise. I knew I was getting a tattooed bad boy, and a flawed heroine but Foreplay delivered so much more than I expected. Jordan gave me a hot romance, wrapped in a coming of age tale that completely swept me away. Mini review: heart-warming, hot, and the characters totally stole my heart.
Autumn in the Vineyard by Marina Adair
I have been enjoying author Marina Adair’s St. Helena Vineyard series, with it’s fleshed out characters and small-town charm. I was delighted to finally read Autumn in the Vineyard which shares Frankie and Nate’s story. From an adorable alpaca to smexy rough and tumble Nate DeLuca, I enjoyed my time spent at the Sorrento Ranch. Mini review: romantic, humorous and touching.
The Wedding Favor by Cara Connelly
The Wedding Favor is Cara Connelly’s debut novel, and she takes us from New York to France, and Texas while sharing this hilarious and heart-warming romance. Victoria is a high strung lawyer, and Tyrell is a cattle rancher. City girl meets cowboy and the chemistry between them is sizzling. Mini review: witty, romantic and hot.
In Flames by Jessica Jayne
In Flames by Jessica Jayne is a hot little romance about forbidden love that I consumed in a single sitting. On a scale of one to ten, the steam factor was definitely a eight. With engaging characters and its delicious romance, this offers a late night read that will more than satisfy. Three word review: hot, hot, hot.
Love at High Tide by Christi Barth
Love at High Tide is the perfect beach read, with its simplistic plot and fun, smexy characters. Coming in at around 46, 000 words I quickly devoured this, had a few laughs and got caught up in the sweet romance. Three word review: sweet, funny and romantic.
