What happens when you fall in love with your best friend and before you can tell him, he ends your friendship? You get over it, suck it up and move on, but what if he shows up at your bakery years later to order his wedding cake? Baking Love shares the tale, and despite a few issues, I rather enjoyed this sweet romance. Three word review: sweet, predictable and clean.
Three Little Words by Susan Mallery
I was a little apprehensive going into Three Little Words by Susan Mallery as it is the twelfth book in a series, but just as promised this delightful romance worked perfectly as a standalone. Three word review: small-town, charming, and romantic.
Coffee Pot Reviews: How Green This Land, How Blue This Sea by Mira Grant & Keeping Her by Cora Carmack
Welcome to Coffee Pot Reviews! These are short and sweet reviews done in the length of time it takes my coffee pot to brew! Today I have two novellas from authors and series that I simply love. So grab a cup of cinnamon coffee or tea and some pound cake with chocolate glaze and enjoy!
The Hero by Robyn Carr
The Hero by Robyn Carr is the third book in her Thunder Point series and for the first time I got that sensation of coming home. The town and the people residing there are beginning to feel like family and while I still miss my beloved, Virgin River, I am now confident Thunder Point will be a wonderful replacement. Hopefully there will be Christmas issues and all will once again be right in my universe. Three word review: heartwarming, romantic and suspenseful.
