Foreplay by Sophia Jordan was a wonderful surprise. I knew I was getting a tattooed bad boy, and a flawed heroine but Foreplay delivered so much more than I expected. Jordan gave me a hot romance, wrapped in a coming of age tale that completely swept me away. Mini review: heart-warming, hot, and the characters totally stole my heart.
The Wedding Favor by Cara Connelly
The Wedding Favor is Cara Connelly’s debut novel, and she takes us from New York to France, and Texas while sharing this hilarious and heart-warming romance. Victoria is a high strung lawyer, and Tyrell is a cattle rancher. City girl meets cowboy and the chemistry between them is sizzling. Mini review: witty, romantic and hot.
Baking Love by Lauren Boyd
What happens when you fall in love with your best friend and before you can tell him, he ends your friendship? You get over it, suck it up and move on, but what if he shows up at your bakery years later to order his wedding cake? Baking Love shares the tale, and despite a few issues, I rather enjoyed this sweet romance. Three word review: sweet, predictable and clean.
Three Little Words by Susan Mallery
I was a little apprehensive going into Three Little Words by Susan Mallery as it is the twelfth book in a series, but just as promised this delightful romance worked perfectly as a standalone. Three word review: small-town, charming, and romantic.
