I was sent an ARC of Dr. Alaska by Jillian David and the tagline of Grey’s Anatomy meets Northern Exposure intrigued me. It’s a story of escaping one’s past, finding yourself and trusting again, all set against the backdrop of the Yukon Valley in Alaska. Cute sled dogs, suspense and medical emergencies added to the romance, and I quickly lost myself in the story.
It’s Wednesday and Sophia Rose is here with a slow burn young adult, contemporary romance. Seen Her Year by Baylin Wing will transport you back to high school and remind you of your teenage crush.

You’ll want to pack your bags and head to the mountains with Julie Parker,her younger boyfriend, his kids, her adult children and their families. Did I mention his ex-wife?
