Locked and Loaded by Mandy Baxter is the fifth novel in the U.S. Marshals romantic suspense series. Baxter melted my kindle and delivered an intense undercover op as Charlie and Decker work to take down a dangerous faction. To do so Decker has to betray blood. Intense, sexy and addictive, Locked and Loaded was the best U. S. Marshals novel to date.
The Sapphire Heist by Lauren Blakely
The Sapphire Heist by Lauren Blakely is the second novel in the Jewel series and concluded Jake and Steph’s story. Once again, I chose to listen as Sebastian York narrated. Blakely delivered a fun romantic suspense with twists and plenty of heat. The Sapphire Heist was an entertaining listen and I hope we get to revisit these characters again.
Shadow Falling by Rebecca Zanetti
Action-packed, with heat, heart and suspense Shadow Falling was addictive. Shadow Falling by Rebecca Zanetti is the second book in the Scorpius Syndrome series a post-apocalyptic romantic suspense that has edge of your seat suspense, hot alphas and a romance to curl your toes. I thoroughly enjoy time spent with these characters.
Her Darkest Nightmare by Brenda Novak
Her Darkest Nightmare by Brenda Novak is the first novel in the Evelyn Talbot Chronicles. Novak delivers a romantic suspense filled with danger set against the backdrop of Hilltop Alaska a town outside of Anchorage. Suspense, murder and a little heat made Her Darkest Nightmare a page-turner.
Nowhere to Hide by Lindsay McKenna
Nowhere to Hide by Lindsay McKenna is the first book in the romantic suspense series Delos. It delivered a heart tugging romance surrounding two damaged individuals, but didn’t deliver the suspense I felt the synopsis promised.
