The four princes of Lumathyst need a mate, and everyone wants a chance...except for her.
Threatened by invaders, the kingdom of Lumathyst is on the verge of chaos, and no one can stop it. Unless the four immortal god-princes find their fated mate―and safeguard the throne―Lumathyst will fall.
Five women have tried. Five have failed. And tonight in the royal city, the princes need to find their Chosen and hope she can survive the transformation that will make her immortal.
Only Rylee Gray wasn’t supposed to be here. She snuck in for her own dark reasons―and now they claim they've found their perfect match. Her. Of course, they have no idea she’s concealing a secret big enough to damn them all.
The four princes have no choice. They’ll use every delectably wicked skill they have to make Rylee fall for all of them…or watch their kingdom collapse.
Narrated by Michelle Price and Jake Bordeaux, the author quickly pulled me into the story. We meet Rylee Gray who through no fault of her own lives in the lowest quarter of the kingdom. Rylee can do magic, something she keeps secret. She and her friends sneak into the choosing, not because they want to be selected as a mate for the Legends of Chaos, but because Rylee’s sister went missing during the last event. The tale that unfolds quickly pulled me in from the princes to the ruthless Kings.
This was my first reverse harem, and I was not at all sure how I felt about it. Rylee spends a month with each of the princes, who are all dear friends. She gets to know them and the sectors they rule over. The four princes couldn’t be more different. We have the Dreamer, the Mind, the Player and the Nightmare. You can imagine what their talents are. I loved them all. Rylee at first is trying to not be discovered, but soon she is falling for them. Could she choose them? Suspense, laughter, sexy times and friendships form.
Their attachments felt genuine and the overall story arc held me captive. The ending was intense and ended in a cliffhanger. I can only hope that the next audio releases soon.
Michelle Price & Jake Bordeaux gave voice to these characters and enhanced the overall tale for me. Rylee’s personality, fears and feelings were beautifully captured, as were the personalities of each prince. Brilliant. I highly recommend listening!

I am not a fan of RH either with one exception: These Broken Bonds by J Bree so maybe that series is of the same cloth!
Kimberly
This was my first, and it worked. I think the whole gods and magic made it work. I’m not sure I’d like a modern RH or a story with multiple partners.

I haven’t read any reverse harem and in general it’s not a trope that appeals to me but it does sound like I should give it a try. This sounds like an interesting read.

I honestly didn’t realise until after I started, but ended up enjoying it. I think because the characters were fleshed out and unique.
