Welcome to Coffee Pot Reviews! These are short and sweet reviews done in the length of time it takes my coffee pot to brew! Today I am a sharing a thrilling romantic suspense called Killing Sarai the first in the In the Company of Killers series.
Lamb to the Slaughter by Karen Ann Hopkins
Lamb to the Slaughter by Karen Ann Hopkins offers readers a view into the small town of Blood Rock, Indiana that boarders and interacts with a local Amish Community. Hopkins delivers a murder mystery that has the new local sheriff navigating the two communities to catch a killer. Mini Review: fascinating whodunit with a side dish of romance….
Ashes and Bone by Stacy Green
Ashes and Bone is the third book in the Delta Crossroads trilogy by Stacy Green. These romantic suspense stories all take place in the quaint southern town of Roselea, Mississippi. I have come to care for the characters in this town and quickly settled in to the story. Mini review: A great tie in to the overall story arc, with intense action and interesting suspects.
Dash of Peril by Lori Foster
If you have been staying Caffeinated you know, I have been lovin’ the Love Undercover series by Lori Foster. Dash of Peril is the last book in the series, but don’t sigh because her next series features Cannon a character we first met in Getting Rowdy. Dash of Peril features kick-ass Lieutenant Margret Peterson and Dashiel Riske, Logan’s sexy brother. Mini review: Edge of your seat suspense and smokin’ hot romance made this one a keeper.
River Road by Jayne Ann Krentz
If you have been staying Caffeinated then you already know Jayne Anne Krentz and her pseudonyms are on my auto-buy list. I consumed, River Road, when it released in January and I’m delighted to share it with you. Set in wine country, Krentz delivers a murder mystery with complicated suspects and a hero and heroine we can adore. Mini review: Edge of your seat suspense with warm, slow-building friends to lovers romance that felt genuine.
