I am always game to try a new genre. When I saw the cover and read the synopsis for Vipers Run, I decided try it. Vipers Run is the first in the Skulls Creek series by Stephanie Tyler. Vipers Run offered former Army Rangers, motorcycles and promised danger. While I enjoyed Vipers Run, you have to suspend belief a little and just enjoy the ride.
Honor Reclaimed by Tonya Burrows
I accepted Honor Reclaimed, the second book in the Hornet series, thinking it would get me to read the first book Seal of Honor that I own on my Nook. I have been eager to try Tonya Burrows romantic military suspense novels, but alas time slipped away from me, and I dove into this blind. Thankfully, each book features one couple. While I did not know the other members of the team, Burrows did a darn good job of bringing me up to speed. I am so glad I jumped, and I will be clearing time from my schedule to go back and read Seal of Honor. Ooh rah!
A Dangerous Madness by Michelle Diener
I love Michelle Diener’s historical suspense mysteries. They are all based around actual events, with delightful characters and a side dish of romance. A Dangerous Madness is connected to her previous novels; The Emperor’s Conspiracy and Banquet of Lies since we see characters from those novels but all are standalone and can be read in any order.
Stealing Justice by Misty Evans & Adrienne Giordano
Stealing Justice by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano is the first in a romantic suspense series that takes us into the world of high profile dignitaries and government officials. Escorts, murder and cover ups added to the suspense and had me flipping the pages. Mini review: Complex characters, sexual tension, heat, murder and suspense made this an excellent beginning to the Justice Team series.
Keeper of the Bride by Tess Gerristen
Welcome to Coffee Pot Reviews! These are short and sweet reviews done in the length of time it takes my coffee pot to brew! Today I am sharing vintage Tess Gerritsen with a romantic suspense novel called Keeper of the Bride.
