When All the Girls Have Gone is a standalone romantic suspense by Jayne Anne Krentz. I am a long time fan and read both her novels and those penned by her pseudonyms Jayne Castle and Amanda Quick. While I enjoyed this murder mystery that involves a 15-year-old rape case, it didn’t quite capture me like most Krentz books.
Black Diamond by Susannah Sandlin
Black Diamond by Susannah Sandlin is the second book in the romantic suspense series Wilds of the Bayou. Set in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana Sandlin shares a serious case that has the DEA and local wildlife agents scrambling as Gators beginning acting strangely. Weave in a little romance, and you have the perfect read for a crisp autumn evening by the fire.
Safe from Harm by Kate SeRine
Safe from Harm by Kate SeRine is the second novel in her Protect and Serve series. The series involves Dawson brothers Tom, Gabe, Joe, and Kyle. Safe from Harm shares a heated romance between Deputy Gabe Dawson and prosecuting attorney Elle McCoy. Filled with danger, their haters’ to lovers’ romance kept me flipping the pages.
Deadly Silence by Rebecca Zanetti
I’ve been enjoying Rebecca Zanetti’s Scorpius Syndrome series, so when I saw she had a brand new series and it contained the word ‘brothers’ I of course jumped Unbeknownst to me, Deadly Silence is a spin-off series for Sin Brothers. But no worries I own them and it is not necessary to read them first. Action packed and full of humor, snark and heat readers will devour Deadly Silence.
Locked and Loaded by Mandy Baxter
Locked and Loaded by Mandy Baxter is the fifth novel in the U.S. Marshals romantic suspense series. Baxter melted my kindle and delivered an intense undercover op as Charlie and Decker work to take down a dangerous faction. To do so Decker has to betray blood. Intense, sexy and addictive, Locked and Loaded was the best U. S. Marshals novel to date.
