Only things turn deadly when Crowbones’ appears, the Crowgard’s version of the bogeyman. A suspenseful mystery with characters I love that kept me listening past my bedtime.
High Jinx by Kelley Armstrong is the second novel in the Cursed Luck series and concludes Aiden and Kennedy’s story. With a mystery involving cursed paintings, this urban fantasy has a cozy vibe with a side of romance. I had fun listening and hope Armstrong tells more stories from this world.
I’ve been listening to an loving the City Between urban fantasy series and have tried to grab the novellas that pop up. I of course, read this out of order, but appreciated what the tale offered. I love the Greywalker series and Harper Blaine, so I was excited to listen to Kat Richardson’s Through the Grey. It’s a collection of short stories with three tales from the Greywalker series. Richardson did not disappoint, and we explore everything from the dead to a runaway reindeer.
