And my crazy urban fantasy binge continues with Half-Off Ragnarok by Seanan McGuire. This is the third audio in the InCryptid series. Interestingly it comes with a change in POV, narrators, locations, and murder. Once again McGuire pulled me into the crazy world of InCryptid.
Winter Igniting by Rebecca Zanetti
Winter Igniting by Rebecca Zanetti is the fifth novel in the post-apocalyptic, romantic suspense series, Scorpius Syndrome. ARC development, a passionate romance, and trouble made for an intensely addictive read.
Survive the Night by Katie Ruggle
Survive the Night by Katie Ruggle is the third book in the Rocky Mountain K9 Unit series. While each of the books contains a romantic couple’s story, there is crossover and an overall suspenseful thread that beckons to be read from the beginning. Suspense, cute animals, and a sweet romance made Survive the Night an enjoyable listen.
Charming by Dannika Dark
Last year I devoured the Seven series by Dannika Dark, and have begun picking up the novellas to this series. Charming is a full-length standalone novel set in the world, and I decided to listen to Nicole Poole’s narration. Charming delivered a suspenseful tale, filled with mystery, a delightful romance and a touch of snark.
The Buried Book by D.M. Pulley
I first discovered The Buried Book by D.M. Pulley in my Prime Library through Amazon and earmarked it to read. I love a good mystery and liked the rural historical setting. In January Audible had a sale offering up all the daily deals. While browsing, I saw that Luke Daniels narrated this and one-clicked. I am so glad that I did, as The Buried Book proved to be an addictive tale.
