The cyst stopped growing after I began the antibiotics. The hitch- it hasn’t reduced in size either. I am counting down the days until surgery. I am tired. I cannot sleep comfortably at night, and eating and drinking is difficult because of pain when swallowing. On a happier note, I got book six of the Kate Burkholder series. My library got it from another library. Tomorrow I have my pre-op physical. Stay Caffeinated and spread kindness.

I hope you’re able to get some rest until you can get the cyst taken care of, Kimberly! You’ve had a rough time of things lately! I got an e-copy invite for Witches of Dubious Origins and I think I’ll download it. I’ve enjoyed her contemporary romance books. Hope you feel better!

I’m so glad the cyst stopped growing but wow it sounds miserable – especially the not being able to sleep. It’s amazing how difficult everything is when you are running on no sleep. I’m glad you’ve found a series of books you’re enjoying and hopefully is helping pass the time. Enjoy your reading and hopefully the days pass quickly to surgery day.

The sooner surgery comes, the better. Hoping you can get some decent sleep in the meanwhile!

  4. Sophie

I am so sorry that you are sleeping badly and that drinking hurts. I hope you will feel better soon thanks to the surgery Kimberly!

I just had a cyst removed from my jaw, as well as a molar that it compromised. That was Tuesday. I’m still fighting the pain though I’m eating again somewhat. I literally feel your pain.

  6. Teresa Broderick

I wish you the best for your op!! So sorry you’re going through this! Glad you have books to see you through. I’d be lost without them in my life too.

  7. Becki

I love all the witchy titles!! Hope your surgery is soon and has the complete desired outcome as soon as possible!

  8. Olivia

I’m glad that it stopped growing, but can imagine how painful and distracting it is. Yay for getting the 6th book in the series!

  9. Lola

I hope your surgery is soon and goes well. That sounds very painful and uncomfortable to deal with that cyst. That’s nice your library got that sixth book in the series you were reading so you can continue that.
