🎶 Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful……

It’s time to kick off the 2025 HoHoHo Read-a-thon! I’ve got my hot cocoa and pile of reads. Are you ready? 

Grab your winter & holiday reads…

From now through December 17th, I invite you to enjoy as many holiday & winter books or listens as you can. Along the way, take part in the challenges, meet new friends and have fun! Be sure to use the hashtag #2025HoHoHoRAT so participants can cheer you on!

It’s Not Too Late To Join..

This year’s event runs from Wednesday, November 26th through Wednesday, December 17th.

During the event, you can read and listen to books that are holiday or winter themed (setting) and take part in fun events & giveaways!

If you haven’t done so, please link up to join. ONLY participants can take part in the fun challenges and prizes. To enter the participant giveaway, you must read/listen to at least two books and finish one challenge.

Reminders ❄️

  • Use #2025HoHoHoRAT when posting to social media so other participants and hosts can spot your updates, comments, etc.
  • Please follow our lovely Elves and Host
  • Any Holiday or winter setting/themed book from any genre, including horror. You can listen to audiobooks or read physical books, ebooks, graphic novels. No length requirements. Re-reads permitted.

Remember, to sign up on the linky and read at least two books/audios and take part in one challenge to enter. If you don’t use the social media site our hosts prefer, follows from, please follow one of their sidebar places and provide place and username.     I’ve already done a lot more this year than last year! I’m reading A Jingle Bell Mingle, and My Favorite Holidate, and I finished a challenge 🙂

        It really is. It’s only approximately. 3 hrs in length narrated by Simon Prebble who does a fine job of it. I was able to listen to it all while I went downtown and the best part was it was available now in the skip the line 7 day loan section lol.

      Yes, we can’t have a readathon without snow. We are expecting 2-5 inches of the white stuff here on Friday .
