An Immortal Guardians Companion by Dianne Duvall narrated by Kristin Potter has cut scenes, interviews and a complete list of the immortals and their abilities. I enjoyed the expanded and cut scenes, notes from the author and interviews in character voice. A perfect gift for an Immortal Guardians fan.

Your favorite character, Sheldon, here. If you’re an Immortal Guardians fan, I think you’re really going to enjoy this companion. Dianne has packed it with ninety pages of deleted scenes that feature many of the characters you’ve come to know and love plus a bonus scene from Cliff’s Descent that you won’t want to miss.
You’ll also find every character interview Dianne has ever written inside these pages. (Those of you who’ve encountered a few in the past know the ones I conduct are the best.) If you’ve never read one or you missed a few, then pick up a copy, sit back, and laugh while I interview Immortal Guardians and the loves of their lives for the network. Even Chris Reordon and Todd down at network headquarters get in on the action.
I also interview Dianne and ply her with questions I thought you’d like to ask her. Throw in a couple of short stories, what inspired the Immortal Guardians series, and a brief Who Does What Now? list, and you’re bound to enjoy it.
See you on the inside!
Immortal Guardian Richart’s immensely competent Second
And the most beloved character in the Immortal Guardians series (at least in his mind)
As a huge fan of the Immortal Guardians series, it was a no-brainer that I’d grab this companion guide. The author’s notes and thoughts on the series origin, characters and world make this a keeper. I laughed when she talked about the cut and expanded scenes she shares. They weren’t cut because they didn’t work. They were cut because her books were too long. A problem many an author would kill.
As someone who has listened to/read all of Duvall’s books in this world and the spinoffs, this was like a trip down memory lane. While nothing changed storylines, it offered moments with characters and expanded on scenes I enjoyed.
Duvall’s book blog tours have included interviews with the characters. Sheldon, Immortal Guardian Richart’s second, interviews the Immortals often with hilarious results. Duvall included some of the best in this edition and I loved hearing them in audio format. With blogs often closing down, it was nice to see these interviews archived.
The last section of the audio/book lists each Immortal Guardian and their abilities, making it a perfect reference tool. I bought the kindle edition along with the audio and have zero regrets.
Kristin Potter narrates the series, and I was delighted to see her narrate this companion. She captured the author, characters, and expanded scenes perfectly.
Fans of the Immortal Guardians will want to add this companion to their collection. I grabbed the kindle version as well to use as a quick reference guide.
