THE KNOCKED UP PLAN, written by Lauren Blakley and narrated by Sebastian York, and Andi Arndt, was the perfect summer romantic comedy. I love “arrangement” tropes, and Blakely delivered. Miscommunication, adorable pets, and two flawed characters had me devouring this in two listens.
Forbidden Promises by Katee Robert
It seemed like I waited forever to get my hands on my audio review copy of FORBIDDEN PROMISES the fourth book in the O’Malleys series by Katee Robert but boy was it worth the wait. Suspense, heat, and danger will keep you listening into the wee hours.
The Underground River by Martha Conway
THE UNDERGROUND RIVER by Martha Conway intrigued me from the time period to the characters part in helping slaves find freedom. Narrated by Hillary Huber, Conway took me down the Ohio River on a floating theater and introduced me to a cast of quirky and endearing characters.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling Audio Listen
To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Harry Potter and in conjunction with the Wizarding World Book Club, I chose to listen to HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER’S STONE for the first time. Narrated by Jim Dale the tale once again came to life and I was lost to it.
How the Witch Stole Christmas by Dakota Cassidy
My wait for the audio release of HOW THE WITCH STOLE CHRISTMAS by Dakota Cassidy resulted in a Christmas in July review. This is the fifth novel in the Witchless in Seattle series a hilarious, paranormal cozy mystery narrated by Hollie Jackson. Wait until you see what new pet Stevie Cartwright invites into her home. Murder, a missing familiar and holiday shenanigans made for a fun listen.
