Deadly Curiosities by Gail Z. Martin

Deadly Curiosities set in Charleston, South Carolina is the first in the Deadly Curiosities series by Gail Z. Martin. An old school urban fantasy with a Warehouse 13 vibe, this tale was action packed. Filled with magic, supernatural creatures and possessed objects. I quickly consumed this and look forward to reading more.

Sixth Grave on the Edge by Darynda Jones

So I ordered Sixth Grave on the Edge by Darynda Jones the moment it was available for pre-order and cracked this puppy open when it downloaded at 2 am. *SQUEE!* I read the first chapter, hugged my Nook and went to bed. Roy offered an engaging tale with a motley crew of supernatural and human characters. Mini review: With a new supernatural creature and interesting characters, it holds the promise of an exciting new series.

Murder of Crows by Anne Bishop

Murder of Crows is the second book in The Others urban fantasy series by Anne Bishop and I chose to listen to the audio version. Alexandra Harris, the narrator, did a stellar job of giving the characters voice, and I once again I gave up my life for two days to consume this. Bishop is brilliant and I am in awe of her world. Mini review: Epic, complex, dark, light and brilliant.
