Netflix bought the movie adaptation rights to Wish You Were Here by Jodi Picoult and so I chose to listen to the audiobook narrated by Marin Ireland because we all know the book is better. I loved the idea of a female undertaker in Victorian London solving murders and was delighted to begin Lady of Ashes by Christine Trent. Narrated by Polly Lee, the tale delivered mystery, history and a side of romance as our protagonist suspects death by unnatural causes.
