My wait for the audio release of HOW THE WITCH STOLE CHRISTMAS by Dakota Cassidy resulted in a Christmas in July review. This is the fifth novel in the Witchless in Seattle series a hilarious, paranormal cozy mystery narrated by Hollie Jackson. Wait until you see what new pet Stevie Cartwright invites into her home. Murder, a missing familiar and holiday shenanigans made for a fun listen.
Bring Her Home David Bell
I have enjoyed Bell’s mystery thrillers and looked forward to BRING HER HOME. Bell delivered a suspenseful thriller with twists and plenty of red herrings as one Dad frantically tries to discover what happened to his fifteen-year-old daughter.
Ravenheart by Dannika Dark
RAVENHEART is the second book in Dannika Dark’s newest series, Crossbreed. It’s Raven Black’s second week on the job, and Dark lets us warm up to the rest of the Keystone crew, learn more about Raven and hunt a serial killer. RAVENHEART was brilliantly done hooking me from the start and allowing me to experience a smorgasbord of emotions.
A Twist in Time by Julie McElwain
A TWIST IN TIME by Julie McElwain narrated by Lucy Rayner is the second novel in the Kendra Donovan series. Once again we are in 1815 and Kendra finds herself working to solve another murder mystery. A TWIST IN TIME was a stronger novel than its predecessor and offering an engaging case and character development.
Veiled Menace by Deborah Blake
VEILED MENACE by Deborah Blake is the second book in the Veiled Magic series. While this wasn’t as fast paced as VEILED MAGIC, Blake offers plenty of reveals as Donata’s role for the police department expands.
