Awakened Spells by Logan Byrne is the first in the series by the same name. Currently, there are four published books being made into audiobooks, narrated by the lovely, Nikiya Palombi. A low-end magical thief discovers she has the mark of Merlin when she joins M.A.G.I.C., a magical police force. Not a bad start to what looks to be a fun series.

Set on Widow’s Island off the Pacific Northwest. Close to the Bone by Kendra Elliot is the first of four scheduled novellas. Each book contains a murder-mystery and there is an overall arc about a missing person from twenty years ago. From the characters to the island history I quickly slipped into this series.
Tempted by Love is the third novel in the romantic suspense series, Montana Heat by Jennifer Ryan. A best friend(s) little sister trope, a hit and run and plenty of danger made Tempted by Love a page-turner.
