I enjoy the urban fantasy series the Sentinels of New Orléans by Suzanne Johnson and was excited by the prospect of short, standalone tales from this world. Pirateship Down is a great introduction to this urban fantasy and the perfect fix for fans anxiously awaiting the release of Pirate’s Alley.

Autumn Thorns by Yasmine Galenorn
Autumn Thorns by Yasmine Galenorn is the first in The Whisper Hollow series. An urban fantasy filled with Irish and Russian mythology. Set in a small Washington town on Crescent Lake in the Olympia Peninsula. Autumn Thorns with its fleshed out world and heated romance held me spellbound and I look forward to visiting again.
Tails From the Booth by Lynn Terry
Tails from the Booth by Lynn Terry offers one hundred and twenty-eight pages that are sure to make you smile. Within the pages of this hardcover collection you will see some of the cutest, furriest, sweetest faces of man’s best friends. All of them taken against a backdrop that will remind you of a vintage photobooth. An absolute must have for dog lovers.
Vision in Silver by Anne Bishop
Vision in Silver is the third book in Anne Bishop’s Other series. I love this series so hard it may be classified as extreme fangirling. I own the series is every format. Generally I listen to the audio version first and then read it. I have listened to the first two books twice and read them once. This is unprecedented as I am not generally one who does re-reads outside of a few classics. If you have not read/listened to this series, you are missing out.
