It looks like the rest of us avoided Covid. My husband was home again from work all this week (although aside from a few naps, he worked from home the entire time). He still has cough and is exhausted. He lives between the guest bedroom and his home office, both on the second floor. Poor Clayton had a fever and croup that started on Thursday. We thought for sure it was Covid, but he tested negative. I felt so sorry for him. He was very clingy when I watched him. He just wanted his Mommy. On a positive note, my daughter and Hazel moved into a new place on Friday after staying with us since her birth. It’s exciting for them, but it was very quiet this weekend. Stay cool, stay healthy and Stay Caffeinated.

I’m sorry your husband got it again. And of course no one caught it again. I didn’t realize your daughter and Hazel were staying with you. I imagine it does seem quiet and I’m sure you miss them. I’m glad Clayton doesn’t have Covid. I think when they are sick like that you need to retest.
Kimberly
We did. It was viral.

I’m glad to hear you all avoided covid and that your husband is doing better! Congrats to your daughter on the new place!

I love men but when they get sick, they can be such invalids haha I am glad he didn’t have COVID but other illnesses can be just as bad.
MarthaE
I’m sorry for your husband but glad the rest of you didn’t get it too.
I hope your husband and Clayton feel better soon.

Thanks for hosting yet again. I clicked through to your review of Ordinary Monsters – good review for what sounds like a great read. I haven’t read any Heather Graham yet but it looks like maybe I should – those are great covers.

Having a quiet home after so long would take some time to adjust, I guess. Hope you are keeping yourself busy. Eclipse the Moon sounds like an entertainer, but I have to start with book one (someday).
Positive vibes for your family.

Poor Mr. C and poor Clayton. I hope they get back to great health soon. Anna still has an occasional cough she calls annoying, but otherwise is back to normal.
Jodie
I’m certainly happy to hear about the rest of your house avoiding COVID but sad to hear that Clayton has croup. I hope they both feel better soon. Enjoy your new arrivals and have a wonderful week ahead.
Tanya @ Girl Plus Books
Thank goodness everyone else avoided Covid! What a relief. I hope your husband feels better soon. I’ve heard from so many people that the exhaustion is the worst.

It’s good news that the no one else got it, for sure. Poor Clayton! Hope he (and your husband) are feeling better now. I remember my daughters always got very clingy when they were sick. Hopefully this coming week will be better.
Rachel @Waves of Fiction
Your poor husband. Glad to hear you all avoided catching it, too. Stay well and cool, Kimberly!
Katherine
I imagine that Hazel and mom leaving does make for a lot of silence! So glad your husband is feeling better though so glad he kept his germs to himself. My mother just got over covid and her biggest symptom was fatigue as well. The Heather Graham books look great. I need to catch up on the Krewe series. Have a wonderful week.
Taylor @ Taylor Fenner’s Bookish World
I’m glad no one else at your house has Covid! My mom’s boss just tested positive and I’m a bit worried because my mom is only 3 weeks past a surgery that removed part of her lung to get rid of cancerous tumors so I don’t want her to get Covid again.
Yvonne @ Socrates Book Reviews
So glad everyone else avoided Covid. I hope your husband and Clayton are feeling better. How exciting for your daughter and Hazel. Good luck to them in their new place. Those Heather Graham books look good. I hope you have a great week!
Laurel-Rain Snow
