Mother Nature continues to annoy us, but yesterday we had a non-traditional Easter. We had an Easter Egg hunt in the backyard for the Royals and Littlest Princess, then grilled steak, which we served with broccoli, green beans and twice-baked potatoes. We threw some french fries in the air fryer for the little ones. I continue to be woefully behind with the blog, and my reading/listening is down. It is becoming the new norm, but I’ve been blogging for almost eleven years, so I am going with the flow. Elbow hugs! Stay Caffeinated.

      I really need to use my air fryer more. I’ve only used a few times so not enough to really figure out the ins and outs of it but I’ve heard it is the perfect way to reheat food and cook all kinds of different things. I hope you have a wonderful week!

        I make blackened Chicken breast all the time. You can make homemade jimca or sweet potato fries too.

      It sounds like you had a nice holiday in spite of mother nature! I’ve been in a bit of a slump on the blog recently too. Ten years in and I’ve learned to be more forgiving of myself. I’m reading a ton, but not as eager to write reviews. As with all things, I’m sure this will pass soon!

      Glad you had a good Easter! Mine was non traditional too-cheeseburger from Wendy’s. Oral surgery today so I wanted something good because it will be awhile. Not great. In the chair while I write this getting numb. Fun times.

      We have done a non-traditional easter this year. We celebrated last week and the kids got their baskets yesterday since my husband has to work today. It’s been a weird couple of years.
      It’s been almost a full year that i have really blogged. I do absolutely love it, I know life happens and I am ok with that. It’s why I like having a co-blogger, make the blog flow better, plus she is a faster reader than me.

      I am a Women’s Fiction author and it is very difficult to get reviews and visibility. Getting book reviews from bloggers is more and more difficult these days. usbookreviews.com helped me get initial reviews and visibility.

      Glad you had a nice Easter gathering yesterday! That sounds like fun! We’re having ours today with all the traditional things going on. My parents and I dyed eggs late last night as we realized we didn’t do them earlier in the week. So they were done just before it was officially Easter around 9pm last night! Lol.

      Ma Nature is very annoying right now. >:( And I also continue to be behind on the blog and reading. But it is what it is. We’re so busy I just can’t seem to find a balance. I’m going to work on it, but I may have to admit that things are just going to be busy as we try to do projects that should have been started when we moved in here 21 yrs ago. LOL

      I picked up Pryor & Cummings last week. It sounds like it will be a good one.

      Happy Easter! We did an Easter Egg Hunt this morning. My son is 3 so it took a bit of explaining 😂 it is lovely and warm and sunny so he didn’t want to leave the garden to have his hot cross bun!

      Kim, if you’ve been blogging for 11 years at a fast pace, it’s your right to slow down and smell the (coffee). You have littles to spend time with and I know how quickly they grow up. I appreciate what a great site you have here, so much to read and take in.

      Sorry to hear about your slump, but it sounds like you have the right attitude about it. I would be stressed to the max. I figured I’m either fully in, or I’m out.
