Change of Heart by Hailey Edwards is the third novel in the Potentate of Atlanta urban fantasy series. Edwards delivered suspense, romance and a touch of humor.
We hit the ground running when an illegal paranormal drug hits Atlanta and all hell breaks loose. With time running out on the bargain Hadley made with the Natisha, the Fae Witch, she will need to clean the city up fast.
This was another loaded installment. It delivered plenty of swoons, laughter and intense battles. To win Hadley will need to rely on alliances, faith, and a whole-lot of Ambrose.
This series is a spin-off of the Beginner’s Guide to Necromancy and set in the same world. While it isn’t necessary to have read that series, I recommend reading the Potentate of Atlanta series in the order of release. Relationships, ARC development and more build off the previous book.
Midas takes Hadley back to his den. She meets the pack and momma. Eep! The two strengthen their bond, but an unwanted gift exposes Hadley’s secrets. Will Midas run or fight? Will she accept the bond mate? I won’t be sharing those deets. Spoilers darling! You must read it and find out.
Those killer cockroaches won’t go away, and someone needs to stop the coven. The storyline for the ARC is well developed, with multiple threads that keep me flipping through the pages and on top of this series. Edwards has become a favorite.
I love Hadley’s team and the Gwyllgis. Atlanta is quickly filling with allies and can I just say Remy is frigging cool. The more I learn, the more I like her. I look forward to diving into the next book.

i lived in the atlanta area for a couple of years and i didn’t see any paranormals. i feel disappointed. maybe they hadn’t got there yet, in the late 80s, early 90s. LOL
