You can't escape the past . . .
Noni is desperate. Her infant niece has been kidnapped, and the only person who can save her is a private detective with too many secrets to count--and more enemies than he can name. A man who walked away from Noni without any warning a year ago, a man who broke her heart. But with Talia's life on the line, Noni needs his help now more than ever--and this time, she won't take no for an answer . . .
The moment Denver Jones sees Noni, the memories come rushing back. The fire in her eyes. The determination in her voice. The danger of having her in his life. Denver had to push her away once, but now with vicious criminals threatening Noni and her niece, he'll do whatever it takes to protect them. But enemies from his past are circling, and they'll use anything--and anyone--to get to Denver.
Twisted Truths was a thrilling conclusion to the Blood Brothers trilogy by Rebecca Zanetti. With her, non-stop action tales, villains, and swoon-worthy heroes she is fast becoming one of my favorite romantic suspense writers.
Nomi is on the hunt for her friend’s three-month-old baby. With her friend dead, she doesn’t have time to fight for legal custody. Not when the baby Daddy is a known drug dealer and gang member. She and her Aunts set out to save her, but a crooked PI and inferior leads, have her desperate. She reaches out via the web for Denver. She doesn’t have his number and instead posts an image of the two of them EVERYWHERE. Denver, of course, comes running and the two soon find themselves in danger as gang members and the group hunting Denver and his brothers close in.
The romance was sizzling, and their chemistry was off the charts. W see growth as these two learn more about one another and find closure in their past. Their feelings, actions and the drama all felt genuine. I loved the snark, development, and Kindle melting heat.
Zanetti tackled the black market and gangs while provided plenty of page time with our series villains. The story quickly pulls you in and provided plenty of twists that will keep you engaged. The book is the longest of the series, and I devoured it in a single day.
We got to spend time with the brothers and their significant others in addition to characters from Montana. All of this added to the storyline and provided nice tidbits in addition to Denver’s story.
The series itself wrapped up nicely after some intense action-scenes, near-death experiences and confrontations. Zanetti wrapped things up in a bow but left a few loose strings…. just enough to allow for more books should she decide to do so. I for one would happily read them.
Fans of action, suspense, and swoon-worthy alphas will enjoy Twisted Truths and the Blood Brothers Trilogy.

I liked Denver, but struggled with the last book. Glad that the story wrapped up well tho, despite some of the lose string.

I’ve tried one by Zanetti before and DNF’d it (Mercury Striking) but I feel that it was more me than the book. I was in the midst of a reading slump so it was probably a case of the right book at the wrong time. I definitely plan on trying something from Zanetti again and maybe this is the series I should go for. Great review, Kim!

Oh my, this book sounds crazy good. That poor kid… Probably the only romantic suspense where the mystery sounds more intriguing than the romance. I need to familiarize myself with this author! Great review 😀
