Undying Legion is the second novel in Clay & Susan Griffith’s Victorian-era urban fantasy. Dark, suspenseful and weaved in magic and necromancy the authors kept me on edge while fleshing out characters and their world. I chose to listen and once again, narrator Nicholas Guy Smith brought this tale to life as Simon and Kate investigate these suspicious murders.
Flight from Death by Yasmine Galenorn
This year I have been making a conscious effort to try new to me authors and when an opportunity presented itself to read Flight from Death by Yasmime Galenorn, I jumped. Flight from Death is the first in her new Fly by Night, urban fantasy series. While it takes place in the same realm as her popular Otherworld series, it is not necessary to read them. Did I mention the main character is a DRAGON! An intense haunting and rarely seen supernatural creatures make Flight from Death a great read for fans of urban fantasy.
The Shadow Revolution by Clay Griffith & Susan Griffith
Reviews of The Shadow Revolution by Clay Griffith had me intrigued and I decided to accept a review copy of the audio. I am so glad that I did. Shadow Revolution offers a dark Victorian-era urban fantasy with memorable characters and an intense plot. I am looking forward to continuing this series.
Brand of the Pack by Tera Shanley
Brand of the Pack by Tera Shanley is the fourth book in the Silver Wolf Clan. I have been enjoying this urban fantasy and getting to know the wolf clan. Despite the length of these novels, Shanley had managed to hook me and endear me to this clan.
Eighth Grave After Dark by Darynda Jones
The Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones is a unique urban fantasy that combines humor, suspense, action and a steamy romance that make me swoon. Eighth Grave After Dark, the eighth book in the series is a pivotal one and I encourage you to devour it immediately.
