The Serpent by Sarah Fine, narrated by Carly Robins proved to be an intriguing start to the Immortal Dealers series. Come check out why I recommend you grab you earbuds and give this urban fantasy a listen.
Fool Moon by Jim Butcher
Fool Moon by Jim Butcher is the second novel in the Dresden Files and once again I chose to listen to the narrations of James Marsters. Butcher combines magic, supernatural elements, and a murder mystery as our Wizard tries to save lives and stay out of jail.
The Grendel Affair by Lisa Shearin
The Grendel Affair by Lisa Shearin and narrated by Johanna Parker is the first in an urban fantasy series featuring a seer who has recently joined the group known as SPI (Supernatural Protection & Investigations). Mythology, humor, and mystery await you in this engaging start to the SPI Files.
Stray Magic: A Strays Novel by Kelly Meding
My quest for all things urban fantasy continues, and I was delighted to stumble upon Stray Magic by Kelly Meding, the first in the Strays series. Dark magic, necromancy, and a snarky kick-ass half human-half djinn heroine, gave way to an addictive tale. I cannot wait for more!
Tricks for Free by Seanan McGuire
I finally caught up on the InCryptid series, but the release of Tricks for Free by Seanan McGuire fell during Take Control, so I had to wait until April to enjoy it. McGuire has created a unique urban fantasy surrounding the Price family and this time we are with Antimony Price who is on the run from the Covenant of St. George and hiding at a theme park in sunny Florida.
