I devoured The Dirt on Ninth Grave, book nine in the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones. After the jaw-dropping, nail-biting conclusion of Eighth Grave After Dark, I was nervous about what we would face going into this novel. I should have set those trepidations aside because Jones handled it brilliantly. I loved how the events in The Dirt on Ninth Grave unfolded.
Of Flame and Promise by Cecy Robson
Of Flame and Promise is the sixth book in Cecy Robson’s Weird Girls series. This is one of my favorite urban fantasy series. Cecy Robson completely draws me into her world and ends up leaving me spent and well sated. Of Flame and Promise delivered humor, intense battles and growing pains, for our girl Taran Wird.
Succubus Heat, Shadows & Revealed by Richelle Mead
I am working my way through series on my TBR pile/Wishlist and finally devoured the Georgina Kincaid series. Grab a cup of cocoa and some Christmas cookies while I share my thoughts on Succubus Heat, Succubus Shadows and Succubus Revealed.
Fated by Sarah Fine
Fated by Sarah Fine is the final book in the Servants of Fate series. I listened to this series and loved the world and characters. This series was my first experience with Sarah Fine but rest assured we have begun a long-term relationship and I am eager to listen to her previously published books and the new ones yet to come. Brilliant, gut wrenching and action packed Fine did not hold back and Fated packed a punch.
Pirateship Down: Stories from the World of the Sentinels of New Orleans by Suzanne Johnson
I enjoy the urban fantasy series the Sentinels of New Orléans by Suzanne Johnson and was excited by the prospect of short, standalone tales from this world. Pirateship Down is a great introduction to this urban fantasy and the perfect fix for fans anxiously awaiting the release of Pirate’s Alley.
