I am currently re-listening to the Harry Dresden Files, but took a break to listen to his newest offering, Outlaw, by Jim Butcher. The events in this novel take place after the fall of Chicago and begin when Gentleman John Marcone, Baron of Chicago, calls in a favor owed. He needs Harry to assist an underling who is looking to go straight. Doing so finds Harry in the middle of a battle he wants no part of.
Paranormal Payback is an anthology containing some of my favorite authors, narrators, and series. Each tale involves supernatural revenge or retribution. I loved the stories from worlds I already knew and ones that tempted me to learn more. Perfect for new and old fans alike.

Butterfly Effects by Seanan McGuire is the fifteenth novel in the InCrytid series. This urban fantasy series follows the Price family, cryptozoologists who study and protect the creatures living in secret all around us. Narrated by Emily Bauer, our Cuckoo, Sarah finds herself abducted to the planet of the Johrlac, and her family heads out to save her. McGuire delivered everything I love about this series.
Sarah Sampino narrates the second audiobook in the Carolina Files by Willa Blackmore. Undertow has us back in the small town of Henley-on-Hale, where an evil has been set loose. The only thing stopping hell from reigning is the Whitlow family. Another engaging mystery with magic, snark, and danger.
