I had such fun listening to Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer. Narrated by Em Eldridge, we follow Evie Sage, who takes a job as the local villain’s assistant. The tale that ensues brought laughter, suspense and swoons. Come see what I loved about this cozy, romantic fantasy.
Black Soul, White Heart is a novella in the Black Hat Bureau urban fantasy series by Hailey Edwards. it shares the story of how Rue’s parents met and married. It was fun getting their story and fans who were curious about the union of a white and black witch will enjoy their story.
I listened to The Atlas Six and was curious about Olivie Blake’s newest release, Masters of Death. I went into this blind only knowing it was a story about vampires, ghosts, and death itself. Narrated by Steve West at its core, it’s a story about love and mortality. I laughed, cried, and lost myself in the story.
Guardian of Madness by Michelle Manus is the third audiobook in the Nyx Fortuna series. Narrated by Desireé Ketchum, Nyx finds herself in a pickle when she is abducted from Earth Between. Her friends will stop at nothing to save her. Grab a cuppa and see why I am having fun with this series.
I love the Red Rising Saga and Light Bringer by Pierce Brown was one of my most anticipated books/audiobooks. Brown did not disappoint, and I listened as I read along.
