Please welcome Sophia Rose to the blog with an audiobook review of Rare Danger by Beverly Jenkins. You’ll want to add this one to your listening library.
You Can Run by Rebecca Zanetti
I love slipping into one of Zanetti’s romantic suspense thrillers. You Can Run is the first in the Laurel Snow series and has us on the hunt for a serial killer. You’ll want to grab a bottle of wine and curl up by the fire with this one. Zanetti delivers an intense case with plenty of twists and heat.
🎧 Wish You Were Here by Jodi Picoult
Netflix bought the movie adaptation rights to Wish You Were Here by Jodi Picoult and so I chose to listen to the audiobook narrated by Marin Ireland because we all know the book is better. Relevant, poignant and deeply moving story that takes place during the pandemic. Grab a cup of coffee and check out my thoughts.
Taken by E.C. Roderick
I enjoy a good time-traveling romance and was delighted to receive a copy of Taken by E.C. Roderick. This is the first in the Taken series and tells the story of Sylvina and what happens when she steps into a time slip. While not without flaws, it was a solid start to the series.
🎧 How High We Go in the Dark by Sequoia Nagamatsu
Narrated by a full cast featuring Julia Whelan, Brian Nishii, Keisuke Hoashi, MacLeod Andrews, Jeanne Sakata, Greg Watanabe, Kurt Kanazawa, Matthew Bridges, Kotaro Watanabe, Brianna Ishibashi, Joe Knezevitch, Micky Shiloah, Stephanie Komure, and Jason Culp, How High We Go in the Dark by Sequoia Nagamatsu delivers a science fiction dystopian that will haunt you long after you’ve finished.
