What We Find by Robyn Carr is the first novel in the Sullivan’s Crossing series. Carr delivered a beautiful novel about love, family, loss and finding one’s self. Set against the trails of Colorado I quickly became wrapped up in the characters. What We Find had characters and banter that reminded me of early Virgin River books.
Last Ride to Graceland by Kim Wright
Last Ride to Graceland by Kim Wright was a delightful story that has us meandering the back roads of the south as Cory Ainsworth retraces her mother’s trip from Graceland. Road Trip!
Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes
Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes returns to the story that began with the book, You. Twisted, oddly humorous and strangely addictive it still amuses me that Kepnes actual made me like a serial killer as twisted as Joe Goldberg.
The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine
The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine offers up a splendid fantasy with dragons and a kick-ass version of Snow White. I easily slipped into the world and Redwine’s twist on this classic childhood story.
The Loft by Bette Lee Crosby
The Loft by Bette Lee Crosby is the second book in the Memory House Collection. Crosby takes us back to the Memory House with Ophelia just in time for Annie and Oliver’s wedding. Packed with emotion, a little magical realism and introducing a new character The Loft transported me to the Memory House allowing me to smell the magical potpourri and visit with favorite characters.
