Clean Sweep by writing duo Ilona Andrews is the first in the Innkeeper Chronicles series and once again, I chose to listen with narrator Renee Raudman. A cross between science fiction and urban fantasy Clean Sweep was an absolute blast on audio.
Owl and the Japanese Circus by Kristi Charish, is the first novel in the urban fantasy series The Adventures of Owl. Mythology, vampires, dragons, demons, elves and more combined with a spunky thief as our heroine had this novel providing one heck of a ride.
Vision in Silver is the third book in Anne Bishop’s Other series. I love this series so hard it may be classified as extreme fangirling. I own the series is every format. Generally I listen to the audio version first and then read it. I have listened to the first two books twice and read them once. This is unprecedented as I am not generally one who does re-reads outside of a few classics. If you have not read/listened to this series, you are missing out.
I enjoyed the first two books, but Fair Game by Patricia Briggs hooked me and I know without a doubt that I will continue the Alpha & Omega series. Filled with danger, humor and character development I love this world. Our little bunny is turning into one heck of an Omega.
Have you ever started a book and within the first few pages, just knew you were going to love it? Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews the first in her new Hidden Legacy series was that kind of book. I consumed it with a smile on my face from its well-built world to the characters I was in book nirvana! Burn For Me is a must read for Urban Fantasy lovers this Fall.
