Bright Blaze of Magic is the last book in Jennifer Estep’s urban fantasy trilogy Black Blade. Action packed; with intense struggles over evil, our heroine leads the charge in restoring order to Cloudburst Falls.
On the Edge by Ilona Andrews
On the Edge was brilliant! The Edge series by Ilona Andrews was on my wish list because I cannot get enough of this writing duo. After listening to Sweep in Peace and realizing there was a crossover in characters, I grabbed On the Edge, the first audio. On the Edge delivered incredible world building and a slow burning haters-to-lovers’ romance filled with delicious heat.
Waylaid by Kim Harrison
Waylaid by Kim Harrison is a fun smash-up of Rachelle Morgan of the Hollows and Peri Reed of the Drifters. Harrison calls it a fan fiction and this short delivered a fun, quick read for fans of the series.
The Visitor by Amanda Stevens
Creeptastic is the first thought that comes to mind when thinking about The Visitor, the latest novel in Amanda Stevens’ urban fantasy series the Graveyard Queen. The Visitor was impressive from the spine tingling mystery to developments in the overall ARC. Stevens sent chills down my spine as she drew me into the world of Amelia Gray.
Fire Touched by Patricia Briggs
Fire Touched by Patricia Briggs is the ninth book in the Mercy Thompson series. I love slipping into these tales and have become attached to the characters within. Fire Touched was a delightful installment and reminded me of earlier books in the series. Plot driven, intense and captivating I devoured every word.
