Fractured by Zelly Jordan touted as the first in the Unbreakable, paranormal romance series offered a hot, steamy, and addictive tale until it ended in a major cliffhanger. It felt like someone forgot to hand me the second half of the book. While it was an excellent beginning Fractured, left me frustrated.
The Conspiracy by Kat Martin
If you looking for a romantic suspense series heavy on the suspense with a touch of heat, then grab a copy of The Conspiracy by Kat Martin. It’s the first in the Maximum Security series, featuring brothers and it delivered.
Dirty Little Secret by Jennifer Ryan
Dirty Little Secret by Jennifer Ryan is the first novel in the Wild Rose Ranch series that will focus on sisters. The sisters are not blood related but circumstances have made them closer than blood relatives. This story belongs to Roxy Cordero, and it was an addictive read I devoured in a single day.
A Merciful Fate by Kendra Elliot
I enjoy the Mercy Kilpatrick series by Kendra Elliot and I was excited to dive into A Merciful Fate. This is the fifth novel, in the series and I was not disappointed. For me, it was the strongest murder-mystery of the series. An unsolved, thirty-year-old bank heist gave way to suspense, townie secrets and more.
Artificial Condition by Martha Wells
Narrated by Kevin R. Free, Artificial Condition by Martha Wells is the second novella in the Murderbot Diaries an off-planet science fiction that is wildly addictive. The audio is just the right length to devour on a road trip or as I did while doing mundane Saturday chores which suddenly became exciting.
