Grave Peril by Jim Butcher is the third novel in the Harry Dresden file and once again I listened to the narration provided by James Marsters. In this third book the stars seem to align and I know this series and I are about to embark and a beautiful friendship.
Hero Next Door: A Single Dad Military Romance by Lara Swann
Hero Next Door tempted me with the single Military Dad trope. I am a sucker for a single daddy. This was my fist Lara Swann book. She provided a nice balance of adorableness, suspense and wicked heat. I chose to listen to new me to narrators, Veronica Worthington and John Lane.
Sadie by Courtney Summers
Sadie by Courtney Summers was a hard read, but Summers never fails to impress me. It’s the kind of story that sticks with you. A mystery, an investigation and heart-wrenching discoveries await you dear reader. Set time aside for this as it will keep you reading into the wee hours, sleep be damned.
A Notorious Vow by Joanna Shupe
I have really been enjoying The Four Hundred series by Joanna Shupe. A Notorious Vow is the third book in the series, but can be read as a standalone. Greedy relations, a desperate young woman and a smexy recluse made for a deliciously entertaining read.
Through the Fire by Katie Ruggle
Through the Fire, is the fourth book in the Rocky Mountain K9 Unit series. While each book features a new romance, there are overall suspense threads that make listening to them in order of release a must. A sexy nerd, and a new female K-9 officer made for a delightful romance while Ruggle amped up the suspense and danger.
