Free are addictive science-fiction novels with humor and suspense that offer the reader a plethora of questions to ponder about AI Intelligence. Rogue Protocol is the third novel and has our SecUnit struggling with performing his own mission and protecting humans who find themselves in danger.

Stranger Things was our first Netflix series binge, despite owning Netflix since its inception. I was excited when Suspicious Minds by Gwenda Bond, a prequel to the series came across my desk. The story takes us to 1969,  Indiana and into the Hawkins National Laboratory where Dr. Martin Brenner is conducting LSD tests on college students for the CIA. Come along and meet test subject 008.

Verity by Colleen Hoover

I’ve enjoyed Colleen Hoover’s romances, but as many of you know I haven’t been craving the genre lately. I have been devouring thrillers, fantasies, suspense, and murder-mysteries! Such is the life of a fickle reader. However, early reviews dubbed this a mind-fuck and declared, “What the hell did I just read?!?” I decided I would eventually read it.
