The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer is a page-turning thriller narrated by Ellen Archer. While going into the tale, I was aware of the mixed reviews; I am here to tell you I devoured the audio. Action-packed and filled with snark, twists and a smidgen of romance Meyer delivered a tale I’d love to see on the big screen.

The Liar by Nora Roberts is a standalone romantic suspense with small-town charm. I always enjoy time spent within the pages of a Roberts’ book and The Liar had all the elements I love delivering a standout read. The Liar left me satisfied by yearning to return to this small-town in Tennessee for secondary characters stories.

Lover Revealed by J.R. Ward

Lover Revealed by J.R. Ward is the fourth book in the paranormal romance series the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Each time I open one of these books, I quickly become lost in its characters and world. While Lover Revealed had a calmer tone to it, Ward still packed plenty of punch.

When All The Girls Have Gone by Jayne Ann Krentz

When All the Girls Have Gone is a standalone romantic suspense by Jayne Anne Krentz. I am a long time fan and read both her novels and those penned by her pseudonyms Jayne Castle and Amanda Quick. While I enjoyed this murder mystery that involves a 15-year-old rape case, it didn’t quite capture me like most Krentz books.
