Liliana Hart is a new to me author, but when I received THE DARKEST CORNER, the first in the Gravedigger romantic suspense series I couldn’t help but dive in. With its unique premise and Texas setting THE DARKEST CORNER offered suspense, mystery and a touch of heat.
Dying Breath by Heather Graham
DYING BREATH by Heather Graham is the twenty-first novel in the Krewe of Hunters series, but don’t let that discourage you as each book works as a standalone. Graham takes us to Boston, Massuchest and delivers creepy murders where victims are buried alive. Historical tidbits, a race to solve clues and a side dish of romance made this paranormal romance a page turner.
Death & the Brewmaster’s Widow by Loretta Ross
DEATH & THE BREWMASTER’S WIDOW by Loretta Ross is the second novel in the Auction Block Mystery series. Once again I chose to listen to the narrations of Amanda Ronconi. Suspenseful with action, danger, and the unthinkable “whodunit.”
Darkhouse by Karina Halle
DARKHOUSE and the Experiment in Terror series by Karina Halle have been in my TBR pile forever, thanks in part to my bloggy friends. When DARKHOUSE released on audio, I knew it was time to dive into this series. While I enjoyed aspects of DARKHOUSE, it didn’t deliver the awesomeness I had been expecting.
Lethal Lies by Rebecca Zanetti
LETHAL LIES by Rebecca Zanetti is the second book in the Blood Brothers series, a spinoff of her wildly popular Sin Brothers series. While I have yet to read the Sin Brothers series, the Blood Brothers series combines, suspense, romance, and a little sci-fi to feed my inner nerd. Fast-paced and action-packed I devoured LETHAL LIES.
