I listened to A Promise of Fire the first book in the Kingmaker Chronicles written by Amanda Bouchet and narrated by Mia Barron. It was brilliant, addictive, funny, and romantic. I need more of these characters and world now!
Quit Your Witchin’ and Dewitched by Dakota Cassidy
I have been thoroughly enjoying the Witchless In Seattle series by Dakota Cassidy. Today I am sharing my thoughts on Quit Your Witchin’ and Dewitched the second and third books in the series. I have been listening to the books on audio and Hollie Jackson captures the humor of this series perfectly. Filled with snark, and feisty characters Cassidy shares the misadventures of Stevie Cartwright, her familiar Belfry and and resident British ghost spy Winterbottom as they investigates murders. Hilarious and addictive I hope you check out these audios.
Roadside Assistance by Marie Harte
Roadside Assistance by Marie Harte is one of those books that captured my heart. The second book in the Body Shop Bad Boys series, Harte touched on body issues with a heroine I flat-out adored. Foley our hero is far from polished, and speaks his mind, but the boy is all heart. I laughed, swooned and cried making Roadside Assistance a favorite for 2016.
A Scot in the Dark by Sarah MacLean
A Scot in the Dark by Sarah MacLean is the second novel in her Scandal & Scoundrel series. Filled with banter and snark McLean delivered a delicious romp.
To Have and to Hold by Lauren Layne
To Have and to Hold by Lauren Layne is the first full-length novel in the Wedding Belles series. It’s a brand new contemporary series set in New York featuring highly successful wedding planners and their individual romances. I am already drooling in anticipation for one of the gals’ romances. A little humor, sweetness and a pinch of angst delivered the perfect recipe for romance.
