I’ve only listened to a novella by Molly Harper, and blogging friends have encouraged me to try more, so when How to Date Your Dragon, the first in the Mystic Bayou series became available I knew it was time. I am so glad that I did. I loved the town of Mystic Bayou, and it’s inhabitants. Harper quickly pulled me in, as did the stellar narration.
Murder’s a Witch by Danielle Garrett
Murder’s a Witch by Danielle Garrett is the first book in the cozy paranormal mystery series Beechwood Harbor Magic Mysteries. I was in the mood for something witchy, and this looked fun. Narrated by Amanda Ronconi, Garrett delivered an interesting, fun and entertaining murder-mystery featuring a halfway house for displaced paranormals.
The Hostess With the Ghostess by E.J. Copperman
Hello Everyone, we have Sophia Rose here today sharing her thoughts on The Hostess With the Ghostess by E.J. Copperman, a paranormal cozy. Grab a cuppa and enjoy.
The Becoming of Noah Shaw by Michelle Hodkin
I thoroughly enjoyed the twisted Mara Dyer trilogy written by Michelle Hodkin narrated by Christy Romano and couldn’t wait or The Becoming of Noah Shaw. The story that unfolded upends the listener as the story picks up after the ending of the Mara Dyer series. While it is well written with twists and a killer ending, the change of narrators threw me.
Ain’t Love a Witch? by Dakota Cassidy
Ain’t Love a Witch? by Dakota Cassidy, is the sixth book in the Witchless in Seattle series narrated by Hollie Jackson. In this installment, the story is told from Crispin Alistair Winterbottom’s point of view, and I loved it. An unexpected package livens things up at this most unusual household. Reveals and continued teasing concerning the romantic thread kept me listening.
