I really enjoyed Hidden, book one in the Deep Ops series featuring an off the grid misfit crew of FBI Agents and their pets, so picking up the novella Taken was an easy decision. Suspense, humor and a second chance romance await you.
Spring Thaw is part of an anthology of short whodunits by Lauren Carr, but for this post I am only reviewing the Chris Matheson Cold Case Mystery, Spring Thaw. A clever whodunit regarding the death of a clergy.
Slow Ride by Lori Foster is the second novel in her Road to Love romantic suspense series featuring two brothers and their family and friends. After reading an excerpt in the back of book one, I was excited for Jack Crews and Ronnie Ashford’s romance. Foster did not disappoint.
It was fun heading back to Mystic Creek with Strawberry Hill by Catherine Anderson. This is the fifth novel, but each can be read on their own. A second chance romance, a budding romance and a bear made for another interesting visit to this small mountain town.
