I was sent an ARC of Dr. Alaska by Jillian David and the tagline of Grey’s Anatomy meets Northern Exposure intrigued me. It’s a story of escaping one’s past, finding yourself and trusting again, all set against the backdrop of the Yukon Valley in Alaska. Cute sled dogs, suspense and medical emergencies added to the romance, and I quickly lost myself in the story.
The Christmas Tree Farm by Laurie Gilmore is the third small-town holiday romance in the Dream Harbor series. A grumpy meets sunshine, snow storm forced proximity romance complete with hot cocoa, family and new beginnings. You’ll want to curl up by the fire and enjoy this one.
