Cream of the Crop by Alice Clayton is the second book in her deliciously funny and sexy Hudson Valley series. I absolutely loved snarky heroine Natalie Grayson, a size eighteen woman who is comfortable in her own skin. She exudes confidence and sexiness. Her witty, outgoing personality had me laughing aloud and cheering. Cream of the Crop delivered a funny romantic comedy with heart and character growth as city girl meets dairy farmer.
Protector for Hire by Tawna Fenske
Protector for Hire by Tawna Fenske is the fourth book in the Front and Center series. Somehow I read book one and then fell behind but no worries as each works as a standalone. If you are looking for a quick, romantic escape with snark and sexy moments, Protector for Hire is the perfect read.
Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman
Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman was on my wish list for BEA 2016. I was delighted to receive a signed copy. When an opportunity to review the audio came along, and I heard the delightful voice of Joan Walker I decided to listen first. I am so grateful that I did. Britt-Marie Was Here is going on my top ten audio listens for 2016. Brilliant, heart-warming, funny, and poignant, Fredrik Backman shows that anyone can change, even a stubborn, set in her ways young woman like sixty-three year old Britt-Marie.
Test Drive by Marie Harte
Test Drive by Marie Harte is the first novel in her new Body Shop Bad Boys series; a spinoff series to the McCauley Brothers that I loved and shared with you last year. This series will feature Johnny, Foley, Sam and Lou the sexy mechanics who work at Webster’s Garage. Smoking hot with a dash of humor and small-town charm, you will want to devour Test Drive.
At Any Cost by Mandy Baxter
At Any Cost by Mandy Baxter is the fourth book in her hot and sexy U.S. Marshals series. At Any Cost was a fast, fun read filled with scorching heat and a nice dose of humor that had me giggling. The U.S. Marshall series is a romantic suspense series that I have come to enjoy, each book deals with one marshal and can be read as standalone.
