I am working my way through series on my TBR pile/Wishlist and finally devoured the Georgina Kincaid series. Grab a cup of cocoa and some Christmas cookies while I share my thoughts on Succubus Heat, Succubus Shadows and Succubus Revealed.
Illusion by J.S. Cooper
Illusion by J.S. Cooper is the first novel in the Swept Away series. It is a mix of romance and suspense as it follows Bianca London who is kidnapped and marooned on a deserted island with a stranger. Heated and laced with mystery Illusions was an interesting story with a lot of potential.
Dead Girl Running by Ann M. Noser
Dead Girl Running is the first in a new young/new adult dystopian by author Ann M. Noser. In the New Order, society has rebuilt utopian cities where there are no homeless, everyone has a job and good health is rewarded or is it?
If I Were You by Lisa Renee Jones
If I Were You by Lisa Renee Jones is the first book in her Inside Out contemporary romance series. With darker sexual elements and comparisons to Fifty Shades (which I have not read), I was unsure, but so many of my friends loved this series, so I settled in and to my surprise devoured this in only two sittings. It ends with a cliffhanger consider yourself warned.
Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch
I was excited to dive back into the world Sara Raasch has created with her Snow Like Ashes series. Ice Like Fire is the second novel, and I am thankful to report that despite not being as strong as Snow Like Ashes, it did not fall victim to second book syndrome. Told in alternate perspectives of those of Meira and Mather we see what has befallen Winter and begin a quest to save their people and perhaps all the kingdoms of Primoria.
